- Tuition is always due by the 3rd Friday of the quarter.
- If you need a few extra weeks to pay tuition, the tuition payment plan can help. Your enrollment (online only), along with your first installment, are due by the first Friday of the quarter.
- You can authorize someone else to pay your tuition by completing the Information Release Authorization after signing into your MyUW account and viewing your "Tuition Statement."

Make FREE ONLINE tuition payments! All you need is your UW Student ID number, your bank's routing number and your bank account number. Log into MyUW, click on your "Tuition Charge Statement" and select the "Web Check" option to make your payment. See step-by-step instructions.

Payments sent directly to the UW Tacoma Cashier’s Office may experience delays in processing.
*The PO Box can take regular mail, but cannot receive parcel service i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL.
If you are unable to access the above options and need to drop off your payment on campus, a secure drop box is located outside DOU 176 for check drop-off and is processed weekly.
When using the drop box, please put your check inside the envelope and fill out the label clearly. Seal and place the envelope in the slot and make sure it drops down correctly. A receipt will be emailed when your payment is processed.
If you don’t have personal checks, students are encouraged to get a cashier’s check from a bank or credit union, or a money order.
