Leave Compensation Grade Profiles Empty When Transacting in Workday
Due to the shift from an experience-based salary scale to a flat minimum, Compensation Grade Profiles are no longer applicable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Kindly leave this field empty when transacting in Workday. Transactions that do include a Compensation Grade Profile will be sent back for correction. In addition, OAP is partnering with the ISC to remove Compensation Grade Profiles from active compensation plans; no action on the part of units is required at this time.
Three nonexempt Postdoctoral Scholar Added in Workday
As previously announced, three nonexempt Postdoctoral Scholar Job Profiles have been added in Workday. These have been created to accommodate those with a part-time appointment whose annual prorated compensation falls below the L&I threshold ($67,728). Please exercise caution when transacting to ensure the correct Job Profile is selected.

Anniversary Dates Required for All Postdocs
As a reminder, anniversary dates are a required data entry for all postdocs as this is the date used to determine the effective date of contract-mandated compensation increases. Please remember to incorporate anniversary date entry into your Hire Workday process. For auditing, units should run the R0702 Missing & Invalid Postdoc Anniversary Dates report on a monthly basis.
